3.5 Powering on the Monitor

After installing the monitor, please follow the procedures described below to power on the

monitor:

Before using the monitor, please carry out corresponding safety inspection as given in

19.1 Inspection.

Press the Power Switch on the control panel. A beep will be heard and, at the same time,

the alarm indicator will flash once in yellow and then red.

The system begins self-testing and the product model will be displayed on the screen.

Several seconds later, the system finishes the self-test and displays the main screen.

The system will initiate every module, and display “XX alarm disabled!” information in

the lower left part of the screen. “XX” represents the name of every module, such as

NIBP, RESP etc.

At this time, you can operate the monitor using the control panel. “XX alarm disabled!”

information will disappear a few seconds later.

NOTE

•

During initialization process, alarms of every module detected by the system are

useless, and thereby are disabled.

3.6 Powering off the Monitor

To power off the monitor, please follow the procedures below:

Confirm the patient monitoring is to be finished.

Disconnect the cables and sensors between the monitor and the patient.

Confirm whether to store or clear the patient monitoring data.

Press the Power switch for more than 2 seconds, and the monitor will be powered off.
