11.5.2 Arrhythimia Options

Your monitor has the following arrhythmia options.

Arrhythmia Message Description

ASYSTOLE No QRS complex for 4 consecutive seconds (in absence of ventricular

fibrillation or chaotic signals).

VFIB/VTAC A fibrillation wave for 4 consecutive seconds.

A dominant rhythm of adjacent Vs and a HR > the V-Tach Heart Rate

Limit.

PNP No pace pulse within 1.75 average R-to-R intervals following a QRS

complex (for paced patient only).

PNC No QRS complex within 300 milliseconds following a pace pulse (for

paced patient only).

PVC One PVC within normal heart beats.

COUPLET Pair PVCs within normal heart beats.

VT > 2 More than 2 consecutive PVCs within the last minute.

BIGEMINY A dominant rhythm of N, V, N, V, N, V.

TRIGEMINY A dominant rhythm of N, N, V,N, N, V, N, N, V.

R ON T R on T detected in normal heartbeat.

MISSED BEATS No beat detected for 1.75x average R-R interval for HR <120, or No

beat for 1 second with HR >120 (non-paced patient only), or No beat

detected for more than the set pause threshold.

BRADY The average heart rate is less than or equal to 60 bpm.

TACHY The average heart rate is greater than or equal to 60 bpm.

11.5.3 Arrhythmia Analysis Menu

Select ARR ANALYSIS >> in ECG SETUP menu. The following menu appears.
